What youll do

Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned but they may include:

Logistics

• Support daily management of all Cenovus logistical functions including fleet planning product scheduling & inventory management

• Provide analytical support to better understand and articulate logistics movements costs and performance
• Provide back-up to pipeline terminal truck and rail schedulers
• Develop standard reports and respond to data requests
• Participate in operational and planning meetings with the Logistics team and other functional groups

Analytics

• Develop and maintain standard reports ensuring timely and accurate responses to ad hoc data requests
• Enhance performance reporting for marketing trading and scheduling teams improving data accessibility and actionable insights
• Automate report generation and data delivery streamlining communication with key stakeholders and improving operational efficiency
• Support economic pricing and forecasting functions by providing data-driven analysis to optimize decision-making processes
• Conduct in-depth market studies and analysis identifying key trends and opportunities to inform business strategy
• Perform statistical analyses to provide valuable insights into business activities supporting strategic planning and performance evaluation

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon request (e.g. passport Social Security etc.)

• Available to begin work on or around September 8th 2025

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills specifically Excel

• Excellent interpersonal judgement and decision-making skills

Education

• Must be enrolled in an Undergraduate Program studying Business (Finance Economics or Marketing/Logistics preferred) or Engineering (Chemical or Computer Science preferred) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work termOR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities
