Essential functions: The speech-language pathologist provides evaluation consultation and treatment in the areas of articulation language fluency and voice. The speech-language pathologist participates as a member of an interdisciplinary team designed to conduct student assessments develop Intervention Plans and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). He/she assists in special education team decisions for instructional and/or support programs. Qualifications: The speech-language pathologist must have an M.A. degree in Speech Pathology Communication Disorders or related field and hold the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certificate endorsement as a speech-language pathologist.
