Summary of Position
A Business Development Representative is responsible for responding to incoming phone and Internet leads in a professional and timely manner as well as reaching out to in-market customers while keeping detailed notes. You would be an integral part of creating valuable lifelong customer relationships and would directly impact the customer experience at Knudtsen Foothills. Continuing product process and service specific training would be provided.
Responsibilities
Answers all incoming sales calls being sure to capture all necessary information in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management software).
Contacts Internet leads and sets appointments for dealership visits while capturing all necessary information in the CRM.
Follows up with all non-appointment incoming sales calls.
Contacts unsold showroom traffic leads.
Sets and confirms Sales appointments. Follows up with no-show appointments.
Tracks sold vehicles; tracks and reaches out to in-market customers using manifest lists.
Performs other duties assigned by department manager.
Qualifications
A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Self-motivated and hard-working.
Basic computer skills working ability of Word Excel etc. and ability to learn database management software.
Capacity to learn product knowledge for inventories advertising programs etc.
Proficient oral and written communication skills and the ability to read and interpret documents.
Have a valid drivers license.
Pass a motor vehicle report and possess a safe driving record.
Pass a criminal background check and credit check.
Required pre-employment drug test (note: we do not test for marijuana during pre-employment testing).
Also subject to random drug testing reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing and post-accident testing at the companys request.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The BDC Representatives physical requirements include:
Standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching crawling and climbing all day
Employee is regularly required to talk and hear
The employee must be able to lift or move items at least 50 pounds
Vision abilities required: close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Team Members regularly works 40 hours per week. While performing the duties of this job the Team Member will typically be outside on the Sales Lot. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions outside weather conditions and combustibles. Fast paced working environment at times but typically the environment is quiet and calm. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderately loud. If walking through the service areas can be exposed to loud noises and dangerous work environments.
