Position:Call Center Provider Enrollment Specialist
Location: Austin TX (Local Candidates Preferred)
Pay Rate: $22.77/hr.
Type:Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Business hours with flexibility for overtime based on production needs
Work Arrangement:
- Hybridfor candidates within 60 miles of Austin: 100% onsite for training and first 3 months with potential to work from home afterward based on performance and business needs.
- 100% Remotefor candidates living over 60 miles from Austin.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Provider Enrollment Specialist to join our healthcare operations team. This is not an entry-level data entry position; candidates must have previous healthcare enrollment and credentialing experience. You will play a key role in enrolling and maintaining provider records for Medicaid programs including dental vision ambulance and physician services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact professionally with healthcare providers and staff to address enrollment inquiries and concerns
- Process 100% of assigned applications and maintenance requests according to established work instructions and quotas
- Identify revise and communicate deficiencies in provider applications
- Respond to provider status inquiries and follow up as needed
- Conduct outreach calls to resolve enrollment deficiencies
- Maintain high-quality standards aiming for a minimum QA score of 98%
- Recommend process improvements to management
- Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Be flexible to work overtime as needed based on inventory levels
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in healthcare provider enrollment and credentialing
- Strong computer and data management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
