COO / INTEGRATOR

THE PERSON

RESPONSIBILITIES

Were a fast-growing organization ready for a true operations leader to lead execution scale operations and keep the team aligned. The responsibilities of the COO / Integrator include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage priorities from the founders vision ensuring the team stays focused aligned and accountable.
  • Set meeting cadence lead agenda planning and manage execution of leadership priorities.
  • Serve as the main liaison between leadership and teams ensuring information flows clearly and priorities move forward.
  • Clarify roles restructure where needed and ensure the right people are in the right seats.
  • Coach department heads on budget ownership and transition from seat-based to profit-driven models.
  • Identify bottlenecks streamline systems and lead implementation of efficient scalable processes.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards tracking tools and reporting systems to drive accountability and decision-making.
  • Evaluate and implement tools (e.g. HRIS project management automation) to support growth.
  • Oversee major initiatives systematize execution and document processes for consistency and scale.

Success Milestones

  • 3 Months: Build trust with leadership establish consistent meeting cadences and demonstrate ownership of daily operations and priorities.
  • 6 Months: Improve operational efficiency through documented systems and KPIs implement an HRIS to streamline HR operations and increase accountability across departments.
  • 12 Months: Fully streamline operations document and standardize core processes and implement systems to support multi-location growth from 6 to 9 schools.

** This is a full-time hybrid position based in Philadelphia PA. Work is primarily remote with flexible hours but regular in-person school visits are required. **


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 5 years of leadership experience at the Director level or above leading cross-functional teams and driving organization-wide impact
  • Proven P&L ownership with sharp financial insight and coaching experience
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience overseeing HR and leading cross-departmental teams
  • Proven experience leading organizational growthsuch as scaling from $10M to $25M in revenue or expanding from 5 to 15 locations or an equivalent increase in size and complexity
  • Technically fluent with strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of AI and automation to lead tech-driven initiatives and assess what should be automated

Preferred

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Masters degree
  • Experience in education sector
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
  • Background in change management
  • Marketing experience
  • Experience managing multiple locations
  • Familiarity with franchising or multi-location expansion

Desired

  • Experience working in family-owned businesses
  • Project Management experience
