What Were Looking For
The Benefit Analyst role will support the mission of the University by working as a key team member within the Human Resources department in respect to faculty and staff employee benefits.
A bachelors degree and three years of relevant experience are required.
A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered in lieu of one another.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Evaluating benefit processes anticipating requirements uncovering areas for improvement and developing and implementing solutions
- Leading ongoing reviews of benefit and retirement plan processes and developing optimization strategies
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Preparing benefits system for effective Benefits Open Enrollment in partnership with vendor Benefitfocus
- Validation of benefit and retirement deductions within Oracle
- Assists with vendor relations and service levels to ensure timely accurate compliant delivery of services
- Drives and analyzes internal and external data analytics to support business decision making
- Handles escalation of benefit inquiries to ensure quick equitable courteous resolution. Build trust with internal customers and team members
- Managing projects developing project plans and monitoring performance
- Updating implementing and maintaining processes
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
