What will your job look like
MTM Transit in partnership with the City of Perrysburg Ohio is looking for Full or Part Time Drivers to join our team in Perrysburg. We currently have training classes that start regularly!

What Youll need:
Experience Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Must be 21 years of age or older
Possess a continuously valid US drivers license for 5 years
Possess valid authorization to work in the United States
Must possess a valid Ohio Class D Drivers License or ability to obtain
No DWI/DUI
No suspensions moving violations or at fault accidents in the last 3 years
Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
Must pass criminal background check investigation
Must be available Afternoons Evenings and Weekends
Skills:
Ability to use a tablet GPS two-way radio or other electronicdevice
Ability to maintain high level ofconfidentiality
Ability to communicate with others and comprehendinstructions
Ability to understand highway traffic signs signals maps manifests andschedules
Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA ADA and DOTregulations
Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea
What Youll Do:
Provide safe and reliabletransportation
Demonstrateexcellentdefensivedrivingskills
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and externalstakeholders
Must assist with passenger loading and unloading fromvehicle
Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safetyprotocols
Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop off of thecustomer
Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals withdisabilities
Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip post-trip and DVI inspections asrequired
Complete paperwork asrequired
Utilize tablets or electronic devices asrequired
