    QUALIFICATIONS
    1. High School Diploma or equivalent
    2. Associate or two-year degree in Accounting/Business or prior experience in Accounting/Business/Bookkeeping/Information Technology preferred
    3. Experience with computerized systems
    4. Proficient in computer word-processing and Microsoft Office applications and Google
    5. Have knowledge skill and or experience in the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) strategies or be willing to receive training in those strategies
    6. Previous experience in computerized systems
    7. Ability to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

    12. Ability to understand and maintain students and parents rights to confidentiality and not violate those rights; nor discuss students in inappropriate places or with anyone not in direct contact with such individual students.
    13. Ensure information obtained through the course of duties associated with this position is held in the highest of confidentiality.
    14. Perform all duties in accordance with Federal and State laws district procedures and Board policies including mandatory reporting procedures.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    To assist the Business Office Manager (BM) in administering the Student Transportation Program of the District in such a way as to provide the best possible Student Transportation services with the financial resources available.
    1. Responsible for all communication between the District and the Student Transportation Management Company (STMC). These duties will include but are not limited to:
      1. Route approvals and issues
      2. Student discipline issues
      3. Parent issues
      4. Assists with the management of other Transportation needs
        1. Student Athletic trips
        2. Student co-curricular trips
        3. District personnel vehicle needs for official district business
        4. Equipment needs
        5. Supply needs
      5. Assist the Districts Medicaid Coordinator to ensure the Medicaid Transportation billings are performed per Federal and State guidelines
    2. Responsible for all communication with ADE regarding Student Transportation Services
    3. Responsible for any ADE or external audit requests and coordinated with the STMC on all audit matters.
    4. Responsible for participating in the Districts DERT program to ensure the STMC is following SVUSD emergency preparedness policies and guidelines.
    5. Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements for the BM to review.
      1. Reviews all STMC invoices and directs Accounts Payable to pay or deny invoices
        1. Assists the Business Office Secretary in preparing all Transportation invoices including but not limited to:
          1. Athletic Trips
          2. Co-curricular trips
          3. District personnel requests
          4. Participating Districts
            1. Route Charges
            2. Student trip charges
            3. Bus rental charges
            4. Fuel charges
    6. Assists the BM in preparing the Districts required ADE Reports.
      1. 100-day report
      2. Vehicle inventory report
    7. Responsible for conducting site visits at least every other week.
      1. Detailed report will be sent to the STMC and BM for any items needing attention.
    8. Assists the BM with the Student Transportation capital asset planning.
    9. Responsible for all District Transportation requisitions including:
      1. Required supplies
      2. Maintenance contracts
      3. Maintenance work orders
      4. Equipment purchases
    10. Assists the BM with and co-presents any Governing Board presentations related to the Districts Student Transportation Service program.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to reach with hands and arms sit stand walk stoop and bend as necessary. The employee maylift carry push pull or otherwise move objects weighing a minimum of 10 pounds and could occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. The employee will read correspondence and computer screens and use the telephone.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Indoor office environment. This position regularly works indoors. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate and may become excessively noisy at times. Will have substantial contact with parents students staff and the public.

    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
    The Transportation Services Coordinator reports to the Business Office Manager. The Transportation Services Coordinator will interact cooperatively with all other staff positions. All elements of good human relations will be practiced.

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
    INITIAL WAGE PLACEMENT PLAN:Starting at $40000 annual
    WORK YEAR:12 Months/8 hours
