Job Description
Reports to: Director of Facilities
Qualifications: A valid license for plumber or steamfitter. Knowledgeable in the repair
and preventative maintenance of fluid handling equipment including
potable and non-potable water and sewer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Repairs services and maintains potable and non-potable
plumbing systems sewage systems and HVAC piping systems
including steam chilled water and hot water. Also works on
plumbing for commercial kitchens.
- Repairs or replaces sanitary systems water distributions systems
and drainage systems (roofs and surface drains).
- Repairs services and maintains pool equipment solar heating
equipment pipe insulation etc.
- Makes and replaces seals gaskets etc.
- Maintains a reasonable replacement supply of parts fittings
pipes accessories etc.
- Works with and supports other trades involved in building
maintenance and upkeep.
- Coordinates inspections and maintain records of inspection reports
