The Senior Director Telecommunications reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for telecommunications services ensuring alignment with the companys overall objectives. This role manages client relationships offering tailored solutions and acting as a trusted advisor. They also oversee business development efforts stay updated on industry trends maintain compliance with regulations and manage financial aspects all aimed at delivering high-quality telecommunications services and driving growth within Meriplex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the telecommunications division aligning it with the companys overall business objectives.
- Lead and inspire a team of professionals in various functional areas providing mentorship and guidance to drive exceptional performance.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients understanding their telecommunications needs and ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients offering insights and recommendations to optimize their telecommunications infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and revenue growth within the telecommunications sector.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies to acquire new clients.
- Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and telecommunications best practices.
- Provide technical leadership ensuring that the division offers state-of-the-art telecommunications solutions.
- Develop and manage the divisions budget ensuring cost-effective operations and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance analyze key metrics and make data-driven decisions to achieve financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations standards and certifications relevant to telecommunications services.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee service excellence.

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies including VoIP Unified Communications WAN/LAN and cloud-based solutions.

- Strategic thinking with a track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed business targets.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally a negligible amount of force frequently and/or constantly having to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
