Job Title:School-Based Therapist
We are looking for a School-Based Therapist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in promoting the mental emotional and behavioral well-being of our diverse student population ensuring they have the support needed to succeed in a rigorous and inclusive academic environment. The therapist will provide direct mental health services including individual and group counseling crisis intervention and family engagement. In this collaborative role the therapist will work closely with educators administrators and families to implement trauma-informed and culturally responsive interventions aligned with the schools mission and values.
What you bring to the table
Masters Degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or a related field
Current Pennsylvania licensure (e.g. LCSW LPC LMFT) or working toward licensure under clinical supervision
Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development mental health assessment and evidence-based therapeutic practices
Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions for students
Skill in using trauma-informed culturally responsive and strengths-based approaches to support student wellness
Excellent oral and written communication skills for collaborating with families staff and community partners
Ability to build trust and rapport with students families and staff to foster a safe and supportive school environment
Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion in school-based mental health services
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
