Selling Partner Growth organizations vision is to empower Selling Partners with tools and programs that make Amazon store the premiere destination for new sellers and create the best place to build brands and achieve long-term sustainable growth. One of the ways we make progress towards this vision is through delivering relevant trust-worthy and globally optimized action recommendations to our Selling Partners.
We are looking for a passionate results-oriented Business Analyst to join our Growth Recommendations team and own defining building and scaling metrics and analytical insights. As a business analyst you will use your analytical mind to drive operations strategy and planning. You will ensure that we are capturing and surfacing the right data and information to make informed business decisions working closely with cross functional members of the team and partner teams. Youll collaborate with engineers to build self-service reports and establish automated processes for large scale data analyses. You should be analytical with strong business acumen and detail-oriented with proven problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate has worked in depth in identifying business insights through data analysis including experience extracting and manipulating data using SQL leveraging BI services such as QuickSight for data analysis and producing digestible business intelligence and actionable information. The candidate should also have strong communication and project management skills enabling them to work with key business stakeholders to understand requirements and shape analytical deliverables. They should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business product and technical challenges with the ability to work cross-organizationally.
- 5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau Power BI experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
