Job Description

Join Our Learning Community as a Secondary School ELA Co-Teacher
Step into a dynamic learning community where you will work side-by-side with lead teachers to support a vibrant inclusive classroom environment. As a Secondary School ELA Co-Teacher you will help guide students through critical thinking literary exploration and effective communication while nurturing their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with lead ELA teachers to plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with secondary English standards
  • Provide targeted academic support through small group instruction and individualized assistance
  • Foster a respectful positive classroom culture that promotes student voice and collaboration
  • Participate in ongoing communication with families and staff to support student success
  • Assist with assessment and feedback to help students grow in reading writing and analysis
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred
  • Experience working with middle or high school students in an educational setting
  • A strong commitment to equity inclusion and collaborative teaching practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
