Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Apprentice. This structured apprenticeship program offers hands-on experience and formal training in a variety of key manufacturing disciplines providing a strong foundation for a successful career in advanced manufacturing.
What You Will Learn:
During the apprenticeship you will rotate through several departments and gain practical knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- CNC Machining Learn the setup operation and maintenance of computer numerical control machines for precision manufacturing.
- Assembly Gain hands-on experience assembling complex mechanical components and systems.
- Testing Understand testing procedures and protocols to ensure product performance and safety.
- Safety Practices Learn to identify hazards and apply best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Tools Use industry-standard tools and techniques to monitor maintain and improve product quality.
- Lean Process Improvement Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production and eliminate waste.
- Warehousing & Inventory Management Support the storage handling and flow of materials and finished goods.
Who Were Looking For:
- A high school graduate or equivalent with an interest in manufacturing and mechanical systems
- A team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy and mechanical aptitude are a plus
Program Duration:
24 month funded course provided with potential extension of learning or full-time position.
