We are seeking a Leasing Manager to join our downtown Toronto office located at 130 King Street West Toronto. In this role you will be responsible for leasing and marketing a portfolio of office and industrial properties across the Greater Toronto Area. You will bring a solid understanding of the local real estate market demonstrated leasing experience and strong collaboration skills to support the successful execution of leasing transactions. You will contribute to portfolio performance by identifying opportunities managing lease negotiations and building strong relationships with brokers tenants and internal stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the execution of leasing strategies for a portfolio of assets across the GTA.
- Manage a consistent volume of leasing activity including small and mid-size transactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the brokerage community and prospective tenants through regular outreach meetings and property tours.
- Conduct tours of vacant space and communicate the value proposition of each asset.
- Prepare proposals offers to lease and related documentation in collaboration with legal and internal teams.
- Assist with financial analysis and market research to support leasing decisions and deal structuring.
- Monitor and track lease activity and ensure timely reporting of pipeline updates projections and leasing results.
- Collaborate with internal departmentsincluding Property Management Construction and Asset Managementto support tenant improvements landlord work and move-in/move-out processes.
- Help coordinate marketing efforts for vacant space including listing updates and collaboration with marketing teams.
- Maintain regular contact with existing tenants to foster positive landlord/tenant relationships and support retention.
- Provide market insights trends and competitive intelligence to inform leasing decisions.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets leasing plans and quarterly reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
- Undergraduate degree in Real Estate Finance Commerce or a related field.
- Ontario RECO real estate license is required.
- Minimum 3 years of office and industrial leasing experience ideally with an institutional landlord or brokerage.
- Strong understanding of lease documentation including offers to lease lease agreements and related legal forms.
- Solid financial and analytical skills with the ability to assess lease economics and market data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to close transactions.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with brokers tenants and internal partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- A proactive collaborative team player with a client-service mindset.
