BioDot Inc. is expanding our salesforce and are seeking experienced salespeople to cover our accounts in the eastern half of North America.
We are seeking candidates that possess the following qualifications:
Experience maintaining CRM territory management tools
Experience closing large dollar capital sales and dealing with extended sales cycles
Experience with automated liquid handling platforms a must
Experience selling into Laboratory and/or Manufacturing environments
Knowledge of life science applications is preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude desired with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical individuals
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Project planning and reporting skills
Moderate computer literacy needed with Microsoft Suite (Word PPT Excel) proficiency required
Should be able to demonstrate organizational skills managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent follow-up necessary being able to be the customer advocate while being able to manage business success
Tenacity drive the ability to be self-motivated work independently and must have a competitive and winning spirit
Minimum undergraduate degree in business or the sciences
We are recruiting for a geographically based professional which will include an installed base of customers both in diagnostic production facilities and academic universities. BioDot Inc. has several new application areas to offer general life science laboratories so applicants will ideally have experience in selling to general life science laboratories capital equipment preferred. The territories consist of the eastern portion of North America; with most of the efforts focused on the US. This is a direct sales opportunity with no reports.

The ideal candidate will be
A science-minded individual with experience marketing/selling to scientists ideally in the point of care testing and/or life science industry.
A sales professional with experience selling & supporting capital equipment products in the $50k to $1M price range.
Informed and energized about the future of in-home testing life science discovery and diagnostic testing.
Passionate about working for a company thats contributing to not only healthcare but also the community at large and general wellness.
An individual looking to contribute to the greater good by commercializing market-leading next generation technology.
Compensation will be competitive and includes a target base salary of $110K and up to $68K commission target with plan achievement in addition to company benefits.
