Job Description
Our Clients Digital Health Team is looking for a UX Designer. Their mission is to empower people to live healthier lives by leveraging their wearables smartphones medical devices AI and health research develop and commercialize innovative digital health products and solutions by bringing together the full capabilities of their team including product strategy and management clinical expertise partnerships UI/UX design usability research clinical research and validation software development AI / Gen AI and regulatory. Role Purpose:As a UX Designer you will work with cross-disciplinary teams to develop meaningful UI/UX design including brainstorming wireframing visual design prototyping and iterating based on research findings and documentation.
Work Location:Mountain View CA;hybrid role (on-site 4 days a week)
Duration:6-month contract with potential to extend for another 6-12 months depending on the candidates performance and work
Pay Range:$50/hr to $57/hr
Responsibilities:
- Work with lead designers creating meaningful experiences by delivering UX UI design from concept through to shipping products
- Provide intuitive and creative solutions for complex design problems
- Work effectively with other designers UX researchers program managers and hardware and software engineers in a highly collaborative environment
- Utilize design thinking and user-centered approaches to communicate your design ideas effectively
- Critically evaluate the success of your design and iterate for the best result to meet business goals
- Document organize and share project plans to ensure effective coordination with cross-functional teams
- 4 years of experience in interaction and visual design
- Bachelors Degree Masters Preferred in related field or equivalent combination of education training and experience
- Proficient in design software (Adobe Creative Suite Figma Sketch Principle Keynote/PPT) for creating visual artifacts and presentations
- Skilled in concept ideation wireframing UI design and hi-fi prototyping
- Solid portfolio with creative design works (shows the candidates solid design process withthe candidates previous work should be enough)
- Top 3 Skills for an ideal candidate:Visual skills Storytelling User experience end-to-end Design process
- Strong verbal written and presentation skills for articulating design concepts to teams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in self-directed teams navigating ambiguity resolving conflicts and adapting to agile startup-like environments
- The healthcare industry orconsumer-facing experience isa huge plus
- Motion/animation skills are a plus
