About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented US Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Financial Reporting Documentation and Revenue Recognition along with a background in Big 4 accounting and a CPA certification. This role will support the Accounting Department in managing the financial operations of the company ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

What Youll Do

• Assist in the management and tracking of fixed assets including acquisitions disposals and depreciation.

• Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations including preparation and filing of sales tax returns.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial reporting systems.

• Provide financial analysis and support for budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Controller.

What Youll Bring

• Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

• CPA certification is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 3 years in a Big 4 accounting firm.

• SOX 404 Control Experience (through Audit or working at a Public Company)

• Strong knowledge of fixed assets management and sales tax compliance.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
