Senior Healthcare Assistant Up to 28000

Our client is currently on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their domiciliary care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled care professional looking to take on a more senior impactful role within a supportive and values-led service.

The service provides high-quality homecare to individuals helping them maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. With a strong emphasis on inclusion empathy and continuous development the team is proud to make a genuine difference in the lives of those they support.

As the Senior Healthcare Assistant you will play a vital leadership role supporting the care team on the ground and ensuring that each client receives exceptional person-centred care. This is a hands-on role for someone with solid care experience a positive attitude and the ability to lead by example.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (essential)
  • At least 3 years of experience in the care sector (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A caring reliable and proactive approach to supporting others
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and care best practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality person-centred care to clients in their own homes
  • Support and mentor care staff promoting a compassionate and professional approach
  • Carry out assessments spot checks and contribute to care planning
  • Ensure care delivery is in line with regulatory and organisational standards
  • Liaise with families professionals and management to ensure continuity of care
  • Promote a safe inclusive and respectful care environment
  • Maintain accurate records and support with audits and quality monitoring
