POSITION SPECIFICS
Health Microbiome Center in the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a Research Technologist Life Sciences-Intermediate Professional position. This unique role bridges the worlds of biological research and science communication offering the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge microbiome and One Health initiatives while supporting outreach and educational programming.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide both scientific and communication support for the Centers research outreach and educational activities. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of scientific manuscripts and grant proposals develop educational curriculum and digital resources for diverse audiences and serve as the primary point of contact for outreach activities. This role also plays a key part in servicing the Centers basic activities andenhancing the Centers media presence event promotions and digital communications ensuring that the impact of our research reaches both academic and public communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in life science research coupled with creativity and enthusiasm for education science storytelling and visual communication.

SALARY & BENEFITS
