Job Description
- Performing routine equipment checks and maintenance at customer site including annual inspections
- Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by reviewing equipment performance with operators and local service/sales team; performing training on safe operation and day-to-day maintenance
- Perform general equipment repair and keep and manage organized parts and tool inventory
- Performing equipment failure analytics and troubleshooting; maintaining and updating SOPs and Visual Standard Works for repair processes
- Assist customers and HWI employees with refractory product support solutions including inventory data collection and installation support as needed
- Requires high school diploma or GED
- Ability to operate a jib crane and ensure the rigging of the load is correct
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Ability to safely operate various hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read understand and work in conformity with work orders as directed
- Ability to detect and correct unsafe or hazardous conditions of equipment and work environment
- Organized individual with emphasis on quality and the ability to meet deadlines
- Requires fundamental computer skills experience in excel a plus
- Requires ability to read drawing schematics and blueprints
- Requires interpersonal skills in dealing with coworkers contractors and vendors
- Requires knowledge of diesel engine maintenance hydraulic and electric motors pumps and relays
- Requires ability to operate hydraulic driven air driven and electric driven mixers pumps and guns
- Requires basic electrical skills
- A strong track record of maintaining technical competency and remaining current in technology and changes in the industry
- Requires two (2) four (4) years of experience servicing machinery (automotive agriculture industrial equipment) including experience with diesel engines hydraulics and electronics required.
