Job Description:
We are seeking a secret cleared Journeyman Security Engineer based out of Dayton Ohio who has experience with security assessments vulnerability management and incident response.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the implementation and management of security controls and policies for cloud and on-premises environments
- Conduct routine security assessments vulnerability scans and penetration testing
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts to ensure timely resolution
- Support the development and maintenance of security documentation including policies procedures and incident response plans
- Collaborate with senior security engineers and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate security risks
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Participate in security awareness training and education for team members
- Perform regular security audits and report findings to senior management
Heres What You Need:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Cybersecurity or related field
- 2 years of experience in cybersecurity
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards (e.g. NIS ISO 27001)
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Associate)
- Possess a qualifying a DoD 8570/8140 Certification
Security Clearance:
- Active secret clearance required
As required by local law Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states ofCalifornia Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New Jersey New York Washington Vermont and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
