We are looking for a working student to support the software /system level validation of our in-house developed automotive software for embedded ARM processors in our Ethernet ASICs. This includes Firmware Software Development Kits Host Drivers and supporting Tools.

This part-time position (max. 20 hours per week) is located at our Automotive Center of Excellence in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe Germany.

What You Can Expect

  • Implementation and execution of software integration / System tests on our software test setups.
  • Setup preparation and maintenance of the software test platforms.
  • Support in test lab for setting up test benches.
  • Supporting with tools test.
  • Supporting tasks for the test automation.
  • Supporting tasks for the documentation.

What Were Looking For

  • You are a student of software or electronic engineering or related fields at a German university e.g. in Karlsruhe.
  • Basic knowledge of software / system test background.
  • Basic knowledge of setting up different test benches comprising of Linux / Windows operating system.
  • Basic knowledge of a programming or scripting language like Python / C language.
  • Basic knowledge in Standards like ASPICE and ISO26262 would be an advantage.
  • Good communications skills in English written and spoken.
  • German languages skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to commute to Ettlingen (Karlsruhe area).
