We have a customer in Phoenix AZ who has an immediate long-term DIRECT HIRE opening for a Construction Estimator with experience in architectural interiors and structural metals for fabrication projects. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position please click APPLY NOW.
In this role you will be directly involved with and interpret bidding process and all bid documents associated with assigned projects for custom architectural metals and glass fabrication products. You will use MS Office and Bluebeam and coordinate with sales staff to review estimates for accuracy and complete scope of work including detailed spreadsheets budgets raw materials purchased services time etc.
This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE position in Phoenix and must be worked on-site.
Salary range for this position is $65000 to $80000.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma GED some College and minimum of THREE years experience in Construction Estimating
- Must have excellent drawing and blueprint reading skills with emphasis on architecture interiors and structural drawing packages and knowledge of commercial construction methods and principles
- Must be able to interpret bidding process and all bid documents associated with assigned projects costs for raw materials handle multiple projects and ensure accuracy of scope of work RFIs etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills ability to maintain customer and vendor relationships and organizational and time management skills
