As a BIE youll uncover business insights using product data that will help us make strategic decisions both for short term priorities and long term investments. Youll be working with the tech leaders to identify gaps in our data practices and help address them. You will partner with PMs Solution Architects TPMs and other stakeholders to run data analysis for some of the challenging customer problems.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and lead design and execution of reporting solutions for product data
Work with product managers data engineers data scientists and software engineers to define reporting needs
Build self-service tools and dashboard that not only gives aggregated metrics but also provide ways to pull granular data for defect verification customer communication deep-dives etc.
Perform deep-dives and data analysis. Provide recommendation on new metrics or business decision.
Mentor teammates provide inputs in team and org level strategic planning lead cross org discussions

- Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift
- Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale complex datasets
