Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
To sew on carpet at the Precoat line and correctly process all ticket information within the SAP system along with any other job duties specified by supervision.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Properly enter greige roll information into SAP as described by the Standard Operating Procedure.
Operate a sewing table with minimal supervision.
Maintain area to 5s standard and perform additional housekeeping duties as needed.
Follow all safety policies and procedures as determined by management.
NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to use computers with the SAP system.
Ability to read ticket information and enter production into SAP.
Ability to sew straight seams by pinning carpet to a seaming table operate the trim knives and use sewing machine to complete the process.
Ability to safely and effectively operate a 2 pole lift truck.
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
Must be willing to work overtime on short notice.
Must be willing to work weekends on short notice.
Must be flexible with scheduled hours ranging between 8 10 & 12 hours for each shift.
