Job Description
Shift : 3rd Shift 11pm-7am
Mission Statement

Essential Duties
The following are the essential duties that I must be able to perform considering job knowledge job environment effort manipulative skills judgment safety knowledge and responsibility.

Note: Required to do any other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
The following is a list of job qualifications and requirements for the job.
Topic Qualifications and Requirements
Education Must be able to read and write. Must have basic math skills.
Physical Must be able to bend and lift an average of ten (10) pound cones for approximately ten (10) hours of an twelve (12) hour shift. Must be able to stand at least ten (10) hours of a twelve (12) hour shift.
Responsibility Responsible for meeting the requirements for safety quality efficiency and housekeeping.
Training Required to complete approximately three (3) weeks training with
a certified Job Trainer.

Material Requirements Listed below are the tool equipment and material requirements required to perform this job.

Air Hose To blow off warper.
Air Splicer To splice yarn together.
Apron To put yarn waste in.
Beam Diagram To get information on how to creel.
Beam Information Sheet To get beam information.
Broom To sweep floor.
Cages / Baskets To put yarn in that will go back into inventory
Calculator To calculate yarn weight.
Dye Beck To check dye headers.
Manufacturing order To get information.
Plastic Washer To protect idler arm wheels from excessive wear.
Rubber Gloves To protect hands from heat while obtaining dye checks.
Safety Glasses/Side Shields To protect eyes while creeling or operating a warper that is running. Side Shields are to be used by associates who wear prescription glasses.
Scales To weigh beams.
Scissors Ring Knife and/or Snips To cut yarn.
Tailout Tickets To record information on and place on the cases for identification.
Warper Production Sheet To record information on.
Winder To back wind yarn
Yarn Separation Tool To use when doffing the mini-beams.
Safety and Security Requirements Listed below are the safety and security requirements for the job.
Required to abide by corporate safety rules and follow all security guidelines. Additional rules are posted in each department as needed.
Must report any unsafe activity to direct Supervisor.
When lifting yarn packages use legs for leverage not back (stoop before lifting).
Be aware of lift truck traffic.
Use scissors safely. Scissors must be in holster when not being used.
Keep bands and plastic out of the creel area to avoid tripping.
Required to remove all jewelry prior to entering warping area.
No constant standing in front of the warper while it is running.
Must wear safety glasses or side shields (prescription glasses) when the warper is running.
Required to wear safety glasses when using compressed air.
Keep air hoses and electrical cords hung up and out of the floor to avoid tripping.
