Job Description
Ohio University Regional Campuses are seeking part-time instructors to teach a variety of in-person English courses at the undergraduate level at the Chillicothe Eastern () and Southern (Ironton) campuses. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach the following course: Writing and Rhetoric I ( ENG 1510) Interest in other ENG options based on background and expertise. Positions will include teaching from 3 credit hours to up to 11 credit hours per term. Future possibility for various delivery modes including in person/face-to-face hybrid or via technology. This position is in-person and not remote. This is a part-time position eligible for sick leave and retirement.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in English or closely related field at time of application and a cohesive set of 18 semester credit hours of discipline relevant graduate course work.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching undergraduate courses. Statement on teaching philosophy and experience with teaching of writing.
