Durango School District 9-R is accepting applications for a Custodial Manager. During the school year when students are in session this position works a day shift on Monday and an evening shift on Tuesday throughFriday. During the summer months when school is not in sessions this a day shift position Monday includes benefits and beginsasap.
SUMMARY Assist the Custodial Supervisor to direct the work of custodial staff. Ensure standards of cleanliness sanitation minor maintenance of grounds safety and security are met. Ensure a safe and pleasant learning environment for students staff and the public. Order supplies and initiate custodial maintenance work orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND TRAINING High school diploma or equivalent. Training and experience in leadership and supervision of employees preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in custodial work. Previous leadership and supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of budgets inventory and equipment maintenance.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS Valid Colorado drivers license. Safety and asbestos training required within 3 months after entering a position. CPR and First Aid training preferred at hire and required within three months of hire. Criminal Background Check required for hire.
