Hospital & Revenue Analyst Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:
- Builds charge codes in Expanse and Craneware and ensures both systems are up-to-date
- Oversees charge integrity and process improvement at the clinical department level by
- Ensuring revenue routes to correct cost center
- Optimizes charge capture processes and compliant billing practices
- Audits for missing charges
- Monitors late charges and charge rejections
- Assists in Charge reconciliation
- Provides guidance to departments regarding strategic pricing of services
- Creates policies and procedures related to hospital charge practices
- Analyzes the CDM for strategic annual price increase
- Studies reports and makes recommendations relative to compliance concerns related to charge practices
- Evaluates departmental CDM requests to ensure that all additions changes and deletions are consistent with proper hospital charge and coding practices
- Serves as the principal point of contact for charging issues and Reports Expanse charge-related issues for resolution
- Ensures ongoing compliance with Price Transparency
- Maintains proficiency within the Craneware Chargemaster and TCI tools
- Analyzes and resolves specific charging edits/errors that delay claims processing
- Analyze monthly reimbursement variance reports to identify payment issues.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends variances and areas for improvement
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses for new and existing service lines
- Providing financial insights to support hospital leadership in decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Finance Accounting or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in revenue integrity charge capture or CDM management in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing coding and compliance regulations.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with EHR/EMR and billing systems.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Compensation:
- $35.00 - $40.25 per hour depending on education and experience.
