About Us
Group IT provides technology strategy governance delivery and support for all of Toll. The team enable Toll with the right technology foundations and business systems to grow the business and support our customer needs.
The Role
Toll Group is seeking a skilled an experienced Strategic IT Vendor Manager to join our team in Melbourne.
The Strategic IT Vendor Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of sourcing activities across a broad range of IT categories and for delivering value to the business through effective management of vendor relationships and spend. Develop & implement appropriate strategies and processes to ensure supplier relationships deliver value-added viable solutions to enable organisational goals to be met.
As the Strategic IT Vendor Manager you will:
Conduct end-to-end sourcingof new technology solutions and IT service providers ensuring alignment with company policies.
Build and maintain strategic vendor relationshipsto maximize value and innovation.
Implement and enhance vendor governance frameworksacross the organization.
Coordinate and drive Quarterly Business Reviewswith executive engagement.
Monitor vendor performanceto ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Support IT operationswith contract management tender processes and technology research.
What Were Looking For

Bachelors or masters degree in IT business commercial Legal or a related discipline
7 years procurement experience in a medium/large global organization.
Experience across a broad range of IT categories: Software Hardware Cloud IT Professional Services. Managed Services. Working knowledge and high-level understanding of a broad range of IT systems and technologies spanning Digital (web mobile apps databases) cloud infrastructure and applications.
Experience in performance management of partners in a technology function.
Track record of delivering procurement benefits (cost out and cost avoidance)
Understanding and working knowledge of ITIL/SIAM and other relevant ITSM frameworks is desired.
Resilient engaging and passionate about motivating colleagues to drive exceptional business performance and an ability to influence cross-functional interdisciplinary teams.
