Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort iscurrently seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Coordinatorto oversee and coordinate the resorts preventative maintenance program. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of all mechanical systems and equipment ensuring the property remains in excellent working condition and delivers an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and schedule the preventative maintenance team to ensure timely and thorough completion of routine maintenance tasks across all resort facilities.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public spaces and back-of-house areas to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop implement and refine preventative maintenance plans and procedures.
Ensure all maintenance work meets Omni Hotels & Resorts safety and quality standards.
Train and mentor maintenance staff to maintain a high-performance safety-focused work environment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities inspections and repairs.
Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions and support seamless resort operations.
Qualifications:
3 years of maintenance experience in a hospitality or commercial setting; previous supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.
Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work flexible hours including overnights weekends and holidays as needed.
EPA Universal Certification and/or other relevant technical certifications a plus.
