THE COURSE
The Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for creating implementing and performing various analyses across all areas of the business including daily/weekly/monthly reporting on Retail/eComm/Restaurant promotions as well as analysis of sales and profitability trends across product lines divisions regions. The position will also be a key member in configuration changes and program monitoring for multiple systems.
This position is responsible for working with various end-users across different roles in the organization in gathering requirements and providing data and analyses and interpreting the information and providing actionable results. This position serves as a key data and reporting liaison between Marketing Finance IT and Retail/eComm/Restaurant Operations.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
- Prepare and distribute accurate daily weekly and monthly reports
- Develop analytics on promotion results to guide future decision-making
- Mine data from one or more sources validate and analyze data to ensure accurate reporting
- Determine the data elements required for new promotions and create meaningful reports at a summary and detailed transaction level
- Work with the marketing team and develop financial models used to quantify incremental sales from marketing promotions or new product launches
- Work with the operating groups to ensure data is accurate for reporting
- Support on project teams designing implementing and improving various software packages and programs
- Prepare financial analysis on business results for inclusion in SEC filings and press releases
- Ability to understand and navigate various software packages to generate accurate and timely reports
- Assist in development of annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist with dashboard and report generation
- Assist with selection and implementation of business intelligence reporting tools and infrastructure.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics Computer Science or related field required
- Generally 2 plus years work experience in business and data analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Excel formatting data including using macros and pivot tables
- Excellent computer skills including creating/maintain/reporting using SQL databases MS Office (including advanced Excel) and presentation tools like PowerPoint.
- Intermediate to advanced level Power BI (or other data visualization tool) experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where self-motivation and initiative are critical to success
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and variance analysis
- Ability to access data from financial systems and understand the corporate mapping and hierarchy
- Aptos/Adobe Analytics experience preferred
Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role including an individuals experience knowledge and skillset as well as work location and available budget.
Rate Range: $79000.00 to $90000.00 annually
