Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness organization and presentation of guest rooms and public areas while maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide the housekeeping team in daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Train mentor and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure efficiency and high performance.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies linens and guest amenities coordinating with suppliers as needed.
- Address guest concerns or requests related to housekeeping services in a prompt and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in scheduling staff and managing housekeeping budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments (front desk maintenance) to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain up-to-date records of cleaning assignments and staff performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle guest feedback.
- Proficiency in housekeeping management systems is a plus.
Schedule:
- Flexible to work weekends holidays and various shifts as required.
