The Communications & Outreach Specialist works with prospective customers through targeted demographics to identify core needs regarding products and service available to them in their area. The Communications & Outreach Specialist will seek new business opportunities by engaging and developing relationships with potential customers to assist in increasing the companies customer base and sales revenue generated.
Communications & Outreach Specialist Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential new customers as well as existing customers to engage directly and build a professional relationship and maintain longevity of customer loyalty
- Identify promotional sales opportunities in order to maintain a solidified sales plan and execute with the appropriate guidance alongside periodic evaluations
- Mentorship of the existing team and potential new team members
- Continued education in promotional customer service customer engagement and sales techniques
- Learn existing promotional sales systems for assigned clients through leveled training and development with an assigned promotional sales manager
- For local campaigns ensure to prove compliant for our clients and research the territory assigned
Communications & Outreach Specialist Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in a customer service or customer facing based role is preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Reliable transportation
- Proven work experience being able to engage directly with a team or individuals and maintain company standards
