ROLE OVERVIEW

The Top of Production Coordinator (TOP) is responsible for processing and tracking all product samples from start to finish as they move through the TOP department. Our Company is renowned for providing emerging trends with speed to our customers and you will be instrumental in our ability to exceed their expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive daily influx of TOP samples for apparel accessories shoes and other products:
• • Unpack and sort packages
  • Scan each style into the database
  • Monitor items received for vendor compliance flagging as needed for chargebacks and vendor follow up
  • Separate no scans and prepare items for alternate handling procedures
  • Hang all products
  • Print and affix the Web Labels and the Styling Notes page
  • Stage and prioritize samples for Buyers approval throughout the day
• Coordinate the TOP approval process with the Buying team to achieve the processing lead-time Provide daily updates on TOP status and prioritize TOP approvals for Fast-Track products
• Review the TOP sample against the NetSuite style page noting any discrepancies and pending testing reports not yet received
• Within Shopify enter fiber content COO and verify all other information is indicative of the product received - Providing timely follow up with buying team if discrepancies are noticed and resolve impediments
• Log TOP approvalsrejections on a timely basis focusing on same-day service.
• Monitor on hold TOP status and discuss action plan with buying team pushing for timely resolutions
• Monitor rejected TOP status and provide timely follow up with vendors to retrieve new samples and the information needed for an approval
• Support the BuyingProduct DevelopmentQuality ControlVendor Management team(s) to locate TOP samples when needed
• Assist in the TOP Library and sample archives as needed

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of one year of experience in Quality Control or other disciplines in the fashion industry
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite G-Suite and other Internet applications
• Problem solving skills with ability to collect organize analyze and interpret data
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace rapid change
• Able to manage large volumes of samples that can weigh up to thirty pounds
• Professionally effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proofread and correct inconsistencies
• Comprehension of apparel and accessory terminology
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to organize prioritize and reorder workload within a dynamic environment
• High School DiplomaGED
• English additional language(s) an advantage
• Schedule of this position: Monday Friday Core business hours Onsite
