Mid QA Engineer (55436)

About the project:

Our customer is the UKs leading Insurance company. The insurance business is with a high level of complexity that allows us to grow together with our customers and provide high-level professional services. Our development and support teams in Latvia are delivering both new features and projects based on new modern such as MVC WebAPI .NET Core Electron and React meanwhile supporting the base platform on WebForms with MS SQL database () and jQuery/Bootstrap/Webpack in Front-end. Our customer values the quality of our services and to keep it on a high level we are looking for experienced developers to join our team.

Tasks include:

• Work closely together with the development team to provide support in quality assurance;
• Create maintain and manage test plans and scenarios;
• Tracking quality and verifying the fixes;
• Produce test reports analyze test results and improve test plans accordingly;
• Give a product demonstration to client representatives.

What to Have for this position:

• At least 3 years of experience within software testing QA methodologies;
• Experience working with Agile testing best practices for web applications;
• Experience in testing Soap and REST APIs using scripts and industry-standard tools
  (Postman SoapUI etc.);
• Experience with SQL and/or MongoDB;
• Experience analyzing business requirements functional specifications and collaborating
  with product owners and clients;
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills (English).

Considered as an advantage:

• Experience with the insurance business domain;
• Experience in using test management tools (for example x-ray).
