We are seeking anEngineering Studentfor our Atlantic Canada District within our Canadian Buildings Divisionthat is available for 4 monthsstarting September 2025 to work in Oromocto NB.
As anEngineering Studentand depending on your assigned project you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Conducting trade quote reviews verifying material quantities hours and rates.
- Conducting deficiency walks.
- Inputting/Updating deficiency logs.
- Issuing warranties.
- Taking/Coordinating progress photos.
- Updating coordinating and producingdrawings.
- Performing quantity takeoffs.
- Coordinating and supervising sub-trade work.
- Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings.
- Setting-up/Maintaining record keeping.
- Updating project schedules.
- Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades.
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field preferred.
- A passion for working in a construction environment.
- Experience with the application of various computer software programs including word processing spreadsheet applications and drafting.
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
- Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
