Whats the role
The Senior Credit Manager will be accountable for quality decisions on new lending proposals in order to achieve excellent customer outcomes and meet required role involves providing professional and proactive management of the portfolio to ensure optimal credit quality and effective account control.
You will be working with Bankers and Lending Managers at a transactional level to increase Banker skill promoting innovation speed and the elimination of waste across the end-to-end to your success will be your proven ability to decision credits within a defined service level engage and influence through your demonstrated strong credit risk assessment and evaluation skills.
What do I need
- Substantial experience in originating and/or approving credit transactions
- Working knowledge of NCP & BCOP regulations
- Significant banking/financial services experience across a broad range of disciplines
- Intermediate MS Office Skills (Word PowerPoint and Excel) and proficiency in Westpac internal systems
- Proven ability to engage and liaise effectively with staff and clients across all levels
