Job Summary
Provides nutrition care to WIC participants under the supervision of the Senior Nutritionist including all aspects of:Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree Clinical Dietitian required
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree No
Completed internship required
Preferred: Ability to provide nutrition counseling in Spanish functional Spanish is fluency desired as well.
Ability to travel to several WIC sites in the Boston area
Familiarity with maternal and child nutrition
Strong individual and group counseling skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong tech literacy
Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
Licenses and Credentials
Dietitian and Nutritionist State License preferred
Heartsaver CPR AED Certification CPR preferred
Registered Dietitian RD preferred
Registered Dietitican Nutritionist RDN preferred
Experience
Prior WIC experience strongly preferred
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Good communication skills.
Ability to effectively evaluate and problem solve.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to guide teach and motivate all patient age populations.
