North End Teleservices is a leading call center committed to providing exceptional services to our clients. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Day Porter to help maintain a clean and organized environment in our call center. This position is crucial in ensuring a comfortable and professional workspace for our employees and clients.
Job Summary:
The Day Porter at North End Teleservices will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the call center with a primary focus on the mens and womens restrooms and break rooms. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail be self-motivated and take pride in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restroom Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities regularly.
- Restock restroom supplies such as toilet paper soap and paper towels.
- Ensure that restroom fixtures are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Break Room Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize tables chairs and countertops in the break rooms.
- Empty and clean garbage receptacles.
- Maintain a clean and organized appearance in break rooms.
- General Cleaning:
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting sweeping mopping and vacuuming common areas.
- Clean glass surfaces and mirrors as needed.
- Waste Management:
- Properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Monitor and replace trash bags as necessary.
- Supply Inventory:
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restroom/break room supplies.
- Report supply needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow company policies and procedures related to cleaning and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift bend and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and practices.
Working Conditions:
- This position involves working in an indoor office environment.
- Physical effort including lifting and bending is required.
- Day Porter may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and odors.
