ABOUT THE POSITIONS AND THE NURSING PROGRAM AT NORMANDALE
The nursing program at Normandale Community College is seeking two full-time faculty members to join the nursing faculty. The candidates hired for the positions will join a dynamic and experienced team of academic nurses and provide instruction in the classroom skills lab and clinical settings. We champion the faculty development of and welcome applications from clinically experienced nurses new to the academic setting. Our program was recently revised from the MANE curriculum to a four-semester associates program emphasizing our program philosophy.
Our program is approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
Normandale Community College is striving to achieve racial equity in educational outcomes. *These courses shall be waived for individuals who at the time of hire have: a degree in education or have documented evidence of successful completion of equivalent coursework in the specified teaching and learning content areas or have three years of successful full-time (or equivalent) secondary postsecondary industry or trade apprenticeship teaching experience in the field for which they are being hired. (Procedure 3.32.1 College Faculty Credentialing Part 5 Subpart B.2)
** This course shall be waived for individuals who at the time of hire have documented evidence of successful completion of equivalent coursework. (Procedure 3.32.1 College Faculty Credentialing Part 5 Subpart B.3)

To be qualified for this position you must meet all of the minimum qualifications.
Official academic transcripts may be requested from those invited for an interview. Those who are invited to interview will be required to provide a teaching demonstration as part of the interview.
