Job Description
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an IT Specialist for their Gaming studio in Belgrade Serbia.
Position: IT Specialist
Location: Belgrade Serbia
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and maintain technical systems including streaming equipment network devices and end-user workstations to ensure high-quality and uninterrupted service.
- Respond to and manage incoming IT support requests with a focus on critical infrastructure components.
- Work closely with software development and cross-functional teams (e.g. AV security IT) to test new applications and ensure seamless integration within the existing infrastructure.
- Manage encoding systems and media servers to support live broadcast environments resolving operational issues to ensure smooth content delivery.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and team members to diagnose and resolve hardware software or network-related issues in a timely manner. Replace and reconfigure equipment as necessary.
- Configure and maintain workstations manage user accounts and access and document internal IT procedures. Address incidents swiftly to maintain service levels and prevent disruptions.
- Oversee IT equipment inventory by maintaining records conducting audits assigning assets and coordinating with external vendors to resolve support issues.
- Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure perform regular hardware and software maintenance and uphold data security standards to protect sensitive information.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent in English (C1 level) with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support with a strong background in maintaining user devices and IT systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training is an advantage.
- Skilled in supporting and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux environments with hands-on experience in Active Directory and system configuration.
- Proficient in installing configuring and maintaining hardware and software components.
- Experience managing wireless networks and ensuring stable and secure connectivity across devices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative multi-departmental setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing IT issues.
- Willingness to work various shifts in a 24/7 operational environment.
