Overview
Our client a global telecom leader is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations in Mexico. This role covers everything from tax compliance and audit support to budget oversight and strategic financial planning. Youll work closely with both local and international stakeholders including counterparts in China and manage a small finance team to ensure accuracy transparency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tax payments and compliance (Federal Tax Payroll Social Security SAT regulations)
- Coordinate with third-party accounting and audit firms
- Oversee financial reporting forecasting budgeting and internal policy development
- Supervise account reconciliations ensure timely submissions and support cash flow planning
- Lead and develop a small finance team conduct training and policy reviews
- Advise senior management on financial strategy and risk
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 5 years in a senior finance role; 78 years preferred
- Fluent in Spanish and English; Mandarin is a strong plus
- Deep knowledge of Mexican tax law SAT compliance and financial reporting
- Experience in audits reconciliations and corporate finance systems
- Proven track record managing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Strategic and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability
