Job Description
Facility: Lake Huron Medical Center (LHMI)
Address: 2601 Electric Avenue Port Huron MI 48060
Contract: 12 weeks
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (36hrs/week (3) 12-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $52/hr (W2) $56/hr (1099)
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and evidence-based care.
- Deliver direct and individualized nursing care based on patient assessments and care plans
- Monitor vital signs administer medications and manage IVs
- Document patient conditions and care accurately and thoroughly
- Respond to patient needs and changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the healthcare team
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
- Adhere to infection control safety protocols and hospital policies
- Active RN license in Michigan (or compact state license)
- BLS and ACLS certifications Required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience
- Strong clinical judgment communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function independently and in a team in a high-paced environment
