About the Unit
Our Radiation Oncology department consists of three outpatient locations in Holland Grand Rapids and Reed City. The candidate should be open to travel to all of the three locations.

Scope of Work
The nurses role in Radiation Oncology is patient focused putting best practice first to guide the patient on what to expect before during and after radiation treatment. Assessment patient education coordination of care and procedural assistance are the main focus of the nurse for patients with malignant as well as some non-malignant diagnosis. Our team strengths include compassion teamwork and collaborative learning to ensure high quality outcomes for our patients. Our nurses enjoy relationship-based patient care while in a supported environment as well as flexible scheduling to accommodate their assignment. This is an opportunity to build on your oncology knowledge and put your nursing skills into action to make a meaningful difference for our patients in Radiation Oncology.
Qualifications
Required Associates Degree Nursing
Bachelors of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years required
LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care
90 Days preferred
