Job Description
Base Pay: $20.50 per hour
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:00am-2:30pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Associate 1 role is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. This position requires working in a fast-paced physically demanding and repetitive work environment which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands.
- Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units
- Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
- Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.
- Movement of carts in and out of production work area
- Loading window sash components for processing insulated glass units
- Assembly of vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass unit
- Offloading insulated glass units to carts
- Final loading of window units into trucks
- Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
- Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern
Qualifications :
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift.
- Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
- Able to convert fractions to decimals
- Ability to read and interpret common statistical data productivity reports and written instructions
- Capable of using computerized equipment
- Ability to move carts in and out of production areas
