In this position...

We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to own the global immigration program from strategy to execution. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Mobility this role will be accountable for the programs success ensure compliance with evolving immigration laws and regulations supporting both new and existing foreign national talent. This role is critical in enabling the seamless movement of talent worldwide to support business growth and strategic objectives.



Responsibilities

What youll do...

What Youll Lead and Execute:

  • Global Program Strategy: Define and lead the overall strategy for immigration aligning programs with business priorities mobility needs and the organizations talent development goals.
  • Immigration Expertise & Compliance: Serve as the primary expert on U.S. and global immigration matters providing strategic guidance ensuring comprehensive compliance with local laws regulations and internal policies.
  • Program Development & Management: Oversee all aspects of program operations including developing implementing and refining policies standards procedures and reporting templates to enhance effectiveness and ensure compliance.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Lead complex talent mobility risk assessments including analysis related to political instability security threats and vendor changes. Design and implement risk management strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Guidance: Partner closely with senior HR leadership Recruiting Legal Compensation and various internal departments to address complex immigration issues and provide expert guidance.
  • Vendor Management: Manage strategic business partnerships and relationships with all external vendors and third parties to ensure high-quality service delivery cost control and compliance.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Establish and monitor key program metrics compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility on program performance compliance status and risk exposure to leadership.
  • Project & Process Improvement: Lead projects focused on identifying innovative solutions for program challenges evaluating alternatives driving process improvements and enhancing workflow management.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead mentor and develop the global Immigration team.
  • Data Management: Ensure the maintenance of accurate confidential and compliant records and data related to all talent mobility functions.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the departmental budget for Global Talent Mobility and Immigration operations.


Qualifications

Youll have...

  • Education: Juris Doctorate (JD) strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a significant focus on US Immigration Law including an extensive knowledge of the various work permit categories (H-1B L-1 E O TN etc.) PERM labor certification processing and employer compliance obligations.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading managing and developing high-performing team.
  • Strategic & Program Management: Experience designing implementing and managing complex global programs policies and standards.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Demonstrated ability to lead risk assessments analyze complex situations design mitigation strategies and ensure compliance in a highly regulated global environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including senior executives HR partners Legal counsel business leaders and external vendors.
  • Problem Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to identify issues evaluate alternatives analyze business implications and develop innovative solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Experience managing relationships and performance of global vendors.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent prioritization organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives under pressure.
  • Ethical Behavior: Demonstrated strong ethical behavior and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
