Job Description
The Homologation team provides support for our customers including type approval witness testing to EU and UN Regulations Conformity of Production in-service conformity testing and other type approval activities.
This role will be based in Bursa Trkiye regular travel to customer sites will be required.
Occasional overseas travel to support client testing and homologation activities when required.
To support the continuing expansion of IDIADA activities we are seeking a suitable professional to join our Homologation team.
This position reports to the Turkish Homologation Manager and is responsible for:
- To deliver homologation activities across the existing client base.
- Client facing customer focused role working across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers (cars trucks...) to deliver projects.
- Supporting customer with worst casing and technical interpretation.
- To verify quality of departmental documentation.
- To generate opportunity proposals in line with Idiadas technical scope.
- Identification of training requirements
- To generate reports and certificates to meet client homologation requirements.
- Keep updated about all the innovation findings news and regulations changes in their field
Qualifications :
Requirements
- A degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (other relevant engineering disciplines or experience will be considered)
- Previous homologation experience required in activities such as:
- Commercial Vehicle Approvals.
- Passive and Active Safety Subjects.
- GSRII subjects including Complex Electronics systems and FMEA experience.
- Knowledge of the Turkish Type Approval scheme is an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledgeable in regulations technical and safety requirements.
- Are updated with the latest innovations and news of the automotive market.
- Good level in English.
- Other languages will be an asset.
- Knowledge of Automotive OEM processes
- Sales/Engineering/Technical knowledge
- Commercial costing engineering or program management experience
