Were seeking individuals with high mechanical aptitude or vocational training.
12-volt electrical wiring experience (trailers wire harnesses etc.).
Truck Auto Mechanics shop related experienced (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of electrical schematics blueprints hydraulic systems and welding.
A desire to learn and grow.
Job Summary:
As part of the Installation Production Team you will be responsible for upfitting and customizing vehicles to CTOS specifications. This includes:
Installing and wiring electrical components for utility trucks cranes and related equipment.
Modifying and enhancing vehicles to meet industry-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical and lighting modifications (12V systems).
Work with electrical components such as switches relays fuses and circuit breakers.
Wire electrical systems for various vehicles using schematics.
Build custom wiring harnesses and ensure proper splicing crimping and soldering.
Run wiring harnesses along truck frames and between drive axles.
Maintain tools equipment and a clean safe work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid drivers license.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and follow wiring schematics and written instructions.
Physical Requirements:
Work in a shop environment and outdoors.
Stand or walk on concrete and uneven surfaces for 8 hours daily.
